Keith Haring Foundation Increases Investment in Homelessness Prevention for New Yorkers Living With or at Risk of HIV
We are proud to share that the Keith Haring Foundation has increased its commitment to homelessness prevention, awarding The Partnership $375,000 over the next three years. The Foundation’s support will anchor our FY26–28 homelessness prevention strategy for New Yorkers living with or at risk of HIV.
The mission of the Keith Haring Foundation is to sustain, expand and protect the legacy of Keith Haring, his art and his ideals. The Foundation supports not-for-profit organizations that assist children, as well as organizations involved in education, prevention and care related to AIDS.
For more than a decade, the Foundation has been instrumental in our work to safeguard the health and housing of low-income New Yorkers living with HIV and AIDS. Most recently, this support has prevented evictions for people living with or at heightened risk of HIV, ensuring the stable housing that is a prerequisite for uninterrupted access to health care and other essential services. The Foundation’s continued partnership will allow us to ensure housing stability and positive health outcomes for more New Yorkers living with or at risk of HIV.
“For almost four decades, the Keith Haring Foundation has protected low-income people living with or at risk of HIV when faced with slow, unresponsive or destructive government policies. Today, as evolving federal policy is dismantling services that have long-since stabilized people living with or at risk of HIV, making them more vulnerable to homelessness and illness, the Foundation is stepping up again. We are grateful to the Foundation for its commitment to protecting and ensuring that low-income New Yorkers living with or at risk of HIV retain their homes and health,” said Áine Duggan, President and CEO of The Partnership.
