Trinity Church Renews Support for Homelessness Prevention with a $250K Grant

We are proud to announce that Trinity Church has renewed its commitment to The Partnership To End Homelessness with a $250,000 grant to support our homelessness prevention programming that keeps vulnerable New Yorkers safely in their homes.

“At Trinity, we’re proud to support The Partnership in helping New Yorkers stay housed, connected and cared for—because true stability means honoring the whole person” said Damyury Almonte, Program Officer at Trinity Church.

Trinity Church is a historic Episcopal parish in New York City, founded in 1697, with a long-standing dedication to justice, service and bringing people together in community. Their support reflects a shared commitment to breaking the cycle of housing insecurity and mass homelessness by investing in upstream solutions that stop homelessness before it begins. This spring, Trinity awarded $16.3M in grants and program-related investments, demonstrating their continued dedication to addressing the housing affordability crisis, among other social supports.

“We are inspired by, and grateful for, Trinity Church’s cornerstone support and thought partnership: their investment in our prevention work recognizes that supporting New Yorkers to hold onto their homes in times of crisis and economic hardship is integral to ending homelessness” said Áine Duggan, President and CEO of The Partnership.

Thanks to Trinity Church, The Partnership can continue delivering vital prevention services that keep vulnerable New Yorkers stably housed and rooted in the communities they call home.
