Young Professionals junior board
The group works to increase the reach and impact of The Partnership by bringing young professionals into the organization who are committed to forwarding its mission through education, engagement and fundraising.
Membership Commitments and Requirements
- Be familiar with The Partnership’s purpose and mission
- Serve as an ambassador for The Partnership by leveraging connections and networks to secure financial resources and partnerships to advance the organization’s mission
- Attend quarterly meetings to discuss upcoming events, organizational updates and strategic initiatives
- Join 1 of 3 Committees and attend Committee Meetings. Committees are responsible for the following:
- Social: Plan 2 social fundraisers per year (e.g., Happy Hour, Trivia)
- Athletic: Plan 2 athletic fundraisers per year (e.g., 5k, Fitness Class, Pickleball Tournament)
- Engagement: Organize virtual fundraisers & educational programs to spread the Partnership’s mission (e.g., Giving Tuesday virtual campaign)
- Raise or contribute $500 annually
- To meet this commitment, the Young Professionals junior board will support each member in developing an individual strategy, tailored to each member’s unique situation
- Members must be located in New York City
- Members must commit to serving a 1-year term
- Complete a brief application expressing your interest in the opportunity for consideration
