Save Homes for Pride

REFLECT

More than 1 million New Yorkers in 440,000 households are in rental arrears and on the brink of losing their homes. Members of the LGBTQIA+ community (as well as immigrants and women and children of color) are among those most at risk. Research from the Williams Institute shows that almost 1 in 5 (17%) members of the LGBTQIA+ community have experienced homelessness at a point in their life.

A majority of people at risk of homelessness are living with complex trauma that stems from experiencing domestic violence, childhood abuse and/or sexual violence.

EMPOWER

Our Save Homes Campaign is an upstream intervention model; we combine housing and crisis services with trauma-informed mental health and well-being programming to address the immediate crisis of arrears and evictions and stabilize New Yorkers in their homes and lives long-term.

This past year, The Partnership provided more than 5,000 direct services and saved homes for 3,000 New Yorkers.

UNITE

If you can, partner with us during Pride and donate to save homes for LGBTQIA+ New Yorkers.
